The Roy Moore Dominoes Trophy Winners 2023.

Sadly we lost Roy Moore in 2011 and as a tribute created the Roy Moore Dominoes Memorial Cup. Each year teams of two compete to win to have their names added to the trophy.
Roy and his wife Celia lived in Great Haywood at The Uplands for many years having previously been landlord of The Plough Inn at Amerton. In later life Roy worked behind the bar at The Great Haywood Sports and Social Club, making many friends. During his association with the Club Roy became a regular member of the Great Haywood Dominoes team C, along with Celia.
Over the years Roy played hundreds of games on a Monday night for the Club C Team, a great player with a great team spirit.
