GREAT HAYWOOD SPORTS AND SOCIAL CLUB

At the heart of our community.

Since it's opening in 1869 as a Reading Room and Library, the Sports And Social Club has been at the heart of our village community, providing a regular meeting place for villagers and a venue for special events. It hopes with your support to continue to serve the village, and the wider community, in the same way in the future.

Membership is inexpensive and gives you a voice and vote in decisions abut the future of our village club.
Ask at the bar for a membership form.

Visitors/boaters, non-members are always welcome as guests.

The Club Offers:

Good company in some friendly atmosphere and pleasant surroundings.

A well-stocked bar with a wide variety of refreshments, including guest Real Ales, at reasonable prices.

Regular Games such as Bingo, Darts, Dominoes, Cribbage, Snooker, Pool with opportunities to play in teams in local leagues.

Televisions showing Sky Sports.

Free musical entertainment every Saturday evening. Check out our Boards and website for details.

Function room for hire for all your personal events, Christenings, Birthdays etc, or your organisation's meetings, AGM's presentations etc.

Catering can be arranged or cater yourself. Outside caterer's welcome.
